In May, Chris Turner (Executive Director of Najidah – our parent organisation) and Lynda Neville our group facilitator attended the first National Post Vention conference in Sydney. Whilst they were there they met with people from all over the country and delivered a workshop about developing young peoples groups.

We have also been networking with the Lifeline project to develop a set of National Practice standards for Suicide Bereavement support groups, ensuring the standards produced are sensitive to the needs of young people.

Jesuit Social Services (JSS) in Melbourne have been talking with us about running a Head High group in Melbourne. This coincides with Head High founding member and Ambassador, Samantha Harrison moving to Melbourne for work. We’re very excited to be working with JSS in this way.
