‘Head High - Young People Living Beyond Suicide’ aims to avert youth suicide through supporting young people bereaved by suicide.

In 2003 a group of young people who had lost loved ones to suicide established a support group in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, specifically for young people bereaved by suicide. The founding members are now young adults and wish to share what they have learned with other young people and groups.

Head High, under the auspices of Najidah Association, is a partnership with the business community to develop support and resource for young people bereaved by suicide, and for groups working with these young people.

Currently, we are in the process of establishing an infrastructure base to support the Head High program being replicated widely and delivered through local community groups.
